Together with the Student Council and the Entrepreneur Club, we were looking for the best idea at HPI for the first time this year.

On the evening of October 17, 2022, the grand finale of the HPI Best Idea Award 2022 finally took place. The winner is the StudyU team with Pauline Gieseler and Johannes Vedder! Congratulations to this great success!

In an exciting final with six great and creative idea pitches from a wide variety of fields, Team StudyU ultimately received the most votes from the audience and prevailed over the competition.

Their idea stems from a research project that has been pursued at the Digital Health Center since 2020. StudyU is a platform for creating, monitoring and analyzing personalized medical studies - so-called N-of-1 trials. Pauline and Johannes were both part of this year's master project in this area.

A big thank you goes to all finalists for their exciting pitches. Participants were:

• Jacob Schäfer with Kulmada – The data driven company culture management tool 

For the winning team, it's time to pack their bags, because in addition to the "HPI Best Idea 2022" award, they will have the opportunity to visit the HPI New York City and its director, Dr. Joann Halpern, and make valuable contacts.

Great innovations, business ideas and projects are constantly being created at HPI, and we would like to make them even more visible. To this end, the HPI Best Idea Award will now be presented every year. The best idea can be a research project, a business idea, a Bachelor-, Master-, D-School-, GTI-, or any other own project. There are no limits to creativity!

The winner of the title HPI Best Idea of the Year is decided by the audience in a live vote on the day of the finals.

The HPI Best Idea Award is organized by representatives of the Student Council, the Entrepreneurship Club and the HPI School of Entrepreneurship.
