In the Northwestern Europe Regional Contest (NWERC), a competiitve programming contest by ICPC, three HPI student teams participated with great success. Trained in our Competitive Programming courses, the team of Tobias Röhr, Lukas Hagen, Konrad Letz, the team of Sebastian Angrick, Niko Hastrich, Jonas Schmidt, and the team of Magnus Menger, Paula Marten, Niklas Mohrin managed to reach 8th, 18th and 66th place respectively. For the first team with the name Seems to be O(k!) this means that they even qualified for the European Championship which will be held in Prague, Czechia on 22-24 March 2024.
