The Program Committee considers Community Building activities as a very important part of the HPI-Stanford Design Thinking Research Program. Therefore two workshops are funded each program year – one in Stanford and one in Potsdam.
The idea behind the Community Building Activities is to bring together the PIs and researchers involved in the Program to get to know each other and to introduce their projects to the whole HPDTRP community. Furthermore the workshops are the ideal platform to discuss and evaluate research results and to identify cross-links between the projects. Traditionally also external researchers and other interesting guests enrich each workshop. The workshops are framed by an exciting social program.
The process and cooperation of the last years’ community building was highly successful, generating important findings within Design Thinking research.
