Master's degree and then?
"Computer science is a degree program with a job guarantee".
For years, IT graduates have had almost free choice when it comes to choosing a job. This is especially true for graduates of the Hasso Plattner Institute.
Your variety of career paths:
In addition to SAP, software corporations such as Google and Amazon were among the most frequent employers of HPI graduates. HPI alumni startups, such as Signavio and Nexenio, are also frequently represented.
In addition to a career in business, many graduates choose the path to science. Around 170 doctorates have already been successfully completed at the institute, and 30% of alumni with completed doctorates work at universities worldwide. Almost 20 of them have been appointed as professors at top universities such as MIT, Humboldt University Berlin or Carnegie Mellon University in the USA.
HPI connects students with potential employers
To give students first-hand insights into their future working world and career opportunities at an early stage, the Hasso Plattner Institute offers the career service "HPI Connect". HPI Connect offers students the opportunity to gain an insight into everyday working life early on in their studies at lectures in the "HPI meets..." and "HPI inside..." series. In addition, the HPI Connect fair on campus and the HPI job portal offer the opportunity to talk directly to potential employers.
